This page is designed for busy people! - If don't
have the couple of hours it takes to read through our entire blog - this
page is for you!
We are Tracey and Gavin Murray - we have been
traveling Australia in our motorhome (a converted Bedford Bus) since 2003
(that's five years at the time of writing). This page features only the
best bits in photographic form.
Instructions - hover your mouse over any of the red dots on the map below for a thumbnail and brief description - click on the red dot to see photos from that location. Click the right side of the large image to display the next image in the series.
So what are the colored lines and what do they mean?
Well, I'm glad you asked that. The colored lines are the GPS recorded tracks of our travels over the last five years.
The track has been divided into years - and each year given a color.
Here is the key:
The motohome (Hobohome) is quite unique - it is one of the only vehicles I have seen with a car that is stored INSIDE the motorhome.
The whole system is quite ingenious, the Moke is stored under the queen-sized bed and uses less than a meter of the length of the bus.
Click on the photo for an animated view, showing how the Mini Moke is 'born'.
The bus is 11 meters long and started life in 1968 as a town bus.
