Elwood is a motorhome converted from a 1981 Denning suburban bus. My wife and I purchased it converted we are just putting our finishing touches on it.

Unfortunately the screaming Jimmy blew up on its maiden voyage. 50 K later we have a 3208 turbo CAT with a high speed diff. The difference is noticeable which is an understatement. She cruises effortlessly on 100 km at 1700 RPM and without any engine noise.

We want to do the big lap as soon as funds allow.

Six large solar panels on the roof with 2 large house batteries 24V that will run everything we need off the grid except air cons. LED lighting.
