Welcome to Hobohome.com Within the pages of this site you will find photos and stories from our on-going exploration of Australia. We travel the continent in our motorhome - a converted Bedford bus motorhome called Hobohome (Americans would call it an RV). The motorhome is quite unique, it uses 24 volt solar power and has a Mini Moke housed inside the vehicle, this ideally suits our nomadic traveling lifestyle.
Our journey began in Sydney in July of 2003. After deciding that we had worked hard for long enough. We now enjoy traveling and seeing all that this wonderful country has to show us. We particularly enjoy the out-of-the way places and the great Australian outback. This site was initially created to allow us to let friends and family know what we were up to. It has now grown well beyond that. The blog entries have been the inspiration for quite a few couples and families, many who now enjoy the lifestyle that is living on the road.
You are warmly invited join us as our travels continue - we enjoy hearing from people who have visited the site so feel free to email us with your comments or questions.
The Motorhoming section of the site contains a mix of articles for motorhoming people. You will find a selection of titles ranging from technical presentations to practical articles (like a guide to setting up a bus or motorhome for free camping your way around Australia).
